Alaa Al-Asadi, Rph BSc. Pharm — Owner & Pharmacist in Charge

Pharmacy One was founded by Alaa Al-Asadi, a highly experienced, dual-licensed pharmacist who brings an exceptional level of clinical expertise, leadership, and compassion to the Sterling Heights community.

Alaa is licensed in both the United States and Canada and holds board certifications in both countries. He has practiced pharmacy across North America and has built his career in a wide range of advanced practice settings, including:

He was recognized as one of the top pharmacy managers within the nation’s largest retail pharmacy chains, consistently leading high-volume pharmacies while maintaining outstanding patient safety, satisfaction, and compliance standards.

Alaa comes from a family of healthcare professionals. His mother is a physician, his wife is also a physician, and his aunts include both dentists and pharmacists. Caring for patients is not just his profession — it is a lifelong family tradition rooted in trust, ethics, and service.

Beyond his professional achievements, Alaa brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to patient care. He has lived with Type 1 Diabetes his entire life, giving him first-hand understanding of chronic disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle challenges, and the real-world impact of healthcare decisions. This experience fuels his passion for helping patients live healthier, more confident lives.

Alaa is married and a proud father to a young son. He and his wife also share their home with two dogs. Family, integrity, and community are the foundation of Pharmacy One — and those same values guide how every patient is treated.
